Welcome to Zephyrix '08

Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College welcomes you to the 8th National Level Technical Symposium ZEPHYRIX 08. Students of all disciplines from various colleges are invited to participate in our Tech-fest. The impact created by Zephyrix '07 was massive attracting more than 800 participants from all over India. This year Zephyrix '08, all set to be unleashed in a bigger and better manner, is lined up with innovative and challenging events to test the technical prowess of the students.

The Department of CSE

CSE, a department with a mission, has been marching steadfastly towards the apex of technical excellence. Our Department, superfluous with talent and skill, has achieved 100% placement during the academic year 2006-2007. It has also made a mark by acquiring 8 University Ranks. It has published more than 25 papers in prestigious national and international journals.

PROJECTS


Mr.V.Sampath Kumar, the Brainchild of Sairam, who has received many an accolade for his ground breaking work on AUTISM, has won a research scholarship at the Neil Armstrong Research Laboratory, USA where he will be a part of a high profile project.

'The Automatic Demand Draft Machine', designed by Mr.K.Harish Babu, Mr.K.Dhilip Kumar and Mr.V.Bharath won the 'Best Project Award' from TCS.

Ms.P.Baby Ambica, another prodigy of our department is the proud winner of the ISTE Best Project Award for her work on 'Intelligence Voice Navigation System (I-VAN)'.

APHONIC ARTICULATOR, the project on hand gesture recognition by Ms.R.Prasiddha, Ms.N.Kavin Preethi and Ms.S.S.Aarthy fetched the prestigious 'I-TALENT' award from the CII.

OTHER AWARDS


Mr.V.Venkatraman, the pride of CSE department was conferred 'The BEST STUDENT Award' by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam on behalf of the CSI.

Mr.M.Arvind and Mr.S.Kannapan known for their prowess in paper presentation, won the contest conducted by CTS and were offered a job for the same.

THE LAB


Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the lab acts as a research ground for the young technocrats of our college by providing them with the latest hardware and software. The lab has an efficient access to internet through the 3 Mbps connection offered by Sify.
